When art, purpose, and culture unite, transformation happens — and that’s exactly what dancer and choreographer Marc Marguerite, also known as Marc AfroKiz, brought to life in the award-winning international film and television project Save the Bees. Blending rhythm, meaning, and movement beneath the Parisian sky, Marc’s collaboration stood out as one of the film’s most powerful visual highlights.
About Marc Marguerite (Marc AfroKiz)
Marc Marguerite is a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor based in France, known for his dynamic teaching style and mastery across multiple dance genres. Fluent in English, Creole, and with working knowledge of Spanish, Marc has built a career that bridges cultures and communities through the universal language of dance.
He is the creator of Afrokiz (since 2019) — a fusion of Afrodance and Kizomba — and a respected instructor of Afrodance (since 2015), Kizomba (since 2017), and Hip Hop (since 2010). His extensive dance training includes mentorships with globally recognized choreographers such as Stylers Criminalz, Invictus Crew, Borges Monteiro, Tebza Diphehlo, and Badgyalcassie, among others.
Beyond his role as a performer, Marc is a passionate educator, teaching dance to children, teens, and adults through associations and studios across the Île-de-France region. His classes are known for their energy, inclusivity, and cultural depth — inspiring the next generation of dancers to embrace movement as both art and self-expression.
His professional résumé includes performances at Accor Arena for Davido’s “Timeless Tour”, the Danone Nations Cup at Stade de France, collaborations with international artists such as Bigflo & Oli, Tayc, and Gims, and teaching positions at top French dance schools including Feeling Dance and Pazapa 95.

Among the most unforgettable scenes from Save the Bees is the stunning group dance filmed at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, featuring Marc Marguerite and his dance team AfroKiz.
The AfroKiz crew included dancers Marc Marguerite, Anna-Céline Lemb, Mia Mendes Falco, Charlène Mendes Falco, Emma Marguerite, and Johanna Henri — representing a dynamic range of ages from elementary to high school.
The choreography blended structure and spontaneity: several group routines were filmed first, followed by freestyle solos where each dancer could express their individuality. The final result was a breathtaking performance — a harmonious blend of energy, youth, and the universal language of dance, all set against the iconic Paris skyline.
With 76 cast members and dancers from the USA 🇺🇸, France 🇫🇷, and South Korea 🇰🇷, Save the Bees became a true symbol of international unity. Yet, the AfroKiz team’s segment stood out as one of the most memorable visual highlights of the entire production — a celebration of diversity, creativity, and collaboration that perfectly embodied the spirit of the film.
🎬 Save the Bees is more than just a film — it’s a movement. Created as a book, film, and 10-episode television show, it delivers a powerful message about courage, identity, and environmental awareness through a vibrant mix of storytelling, music, and dance.

✋ How to Deal with Bullying
The story, “Princess Ellie and the Feathered Prince,” follows a curious bee who is bullied for his feathered wings. Through friendship and discovery, the characters learn to embrace their differences and use their unique gifts to restore balance to their world — ultimately teaching children about confidence, kindness, and the importance of protecting nature.
The soundtrack’s hit single, “Spread Your Wings and Fly”, written by DJ Princess Ellie, is a K-Pop and Hip Hop fusion track in English, Spanish, and Korean. The song won Gold at the International Independent Film Awards 2025, making it one of the year’s most celebrated cross-cultural collaborations.
